*Los Angeles, CA – Didi Hirsch, home to the nation’s first suicide prevention center and one of the leading providers of mental health and crisis care for the whole person, as well as the office of council member Nithya Raman, proclaimed May as Mental Health Month is Health Month (MHIHM) in the City of Los Angeles. With this proclamation, Didi Hirsch announced a national campaign for equity and parity in mental health including 2022 MHIH Ambassadors such as Jhene Aikoan outspoken and courageous lawyer, and MTV Entertainment Group.

The pandemic, trauma, loss, and inequality have further impacted people’s mental well-being. In the past year alone, ten percent of Los Angeles residents have thought about suicide and 13.9 percent have experienced serious psychological distress. Additionally, on average, two Los Angeles County residents die by suicide each day. This growing crisis is being felt across the country, especially among young people, as the country has seen a 15-year rise in mental health issues on college campuses. With 60% of adolescents and young people with depression unable to access care, the current risk is heightened and the need for available resources is magnified even more. Didi Hirsch is experiencing a 13% increase in calls, chats and texts, with an average of 136,000 received per year on the Suicide Prevention Center’s English/Spanish hotline, available 24/7 7. This proclamation is a significant step in raising awareness about mental health.

Jhené Aiko (and others -To address this growing crisis, the City of Los Angeles and mental health advocates, along with Didi Hirsch, proclaimed May as Mental Health East Health Month – an action-oriented approach to National Mental Health Awareness Month as awareness of gaps in mental health and addictions care is at an all-time high. More than 25 years ago, Didi Hirsch started a movement to erase the “interpersonal stigma” of mental illness by launching the first national Erasing the Stigma leadership awards, honoring those who have courageously shared their stories for others. Today, Didi Hirsch’s month-long campaign will draw attention to ‘structural stigma’, which experts say are more systemic laws, policies and practices that treat patients with mental illness as less important. Calls to Action to Advocate, Donate and Activate through 4 weekly themes of Health Heroes, Youth, Crisis Care and Whole-person Care, seek to ensure that all healthcare finally sees and treats the spirit and the body as inseparable and no child, family, or adult is left without access.

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Month 2022 Ambassadors include:

  • Jhene Aiko, six-time Grammy nominee and mental health advocate;
  • MTV Entertainment Group with a decades-long legacy of mental health work;
  • Adia Fadaei, Mental Health is Health Youth Ambassador, a 19-year-old mental health and suicide prevention advocate in Los Angeles, California.

Throughout the month, Didi Hirsch will share powerful stories from this year’s Ambassadors, lead highly engaging social media activations, and host curated opportunities to educate and activate individuals in advocacy.

“We are grateful that the City of Los Angeles did not stop at raising awareness of mental health needs in our communities in May, but chose to de-stigmatize the systems with its investments and this concrete message of ‘hope and fairness,’ said Didi Hirsch CEO Jonathan Goldfinger. , MD, MPH, FAAP. “As we celebrate 80 years of service, Didi Hirsch will highlight to the public what world-class mental health and suicide prevention services look like, especially for young people, healthcare professionals, BIPOC and others. communities where discrimination and injustice limit access. With the support of the City of Los Angeles, we are confident that this action-oriented campaign will help save and transform lives. »

“As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety, I am keenly aware that mental health is health,” said Jhene Aiko, singer, mental health advocate and mental health ambassador. “I am honored to be recognized and grateful to Didi Hirsch, the City of Los Angeles and Council Member Raman for creating a culture of positivity around mental health.”

“Over the past few years, we’ve seen mental health issues soar — in large part due to the pandemic — affecting the lives of Angelenos, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status.” , Council member Nithya Raman said. “I am very proud to join forces with Didi Hirsch, who has a long-standing commitment to the local Los Angeles community, to proclaim May as Mental Health Month and to ensure that anyone struggling with mental health issues are connected to support and resources. they need”

“We greatly admire the lifesaving work of Didi Hirsch and are honored to be recognized for our commitment to demystifying, de-stigmatizing and normalizing conversations about mental health, especially among today’s youth,” said Brianna Cayo Cotter , Senior Vice President of Social Impact, MTV Entertainment Group. “Whether it’s harnessing the power of storytelling or bringing together cross-industry partners, we pride ourselves on amplifying the message that Mental health is health.”

“I’m hopeful for young people across the country amid our mental health crisis as Didi Hirsch, mental health advocates and local elected officials prioritize eliminating mental health stigma and suicide,” said Adia Fadaei, Didi Hirsch’s youth mental health ambassador. “As a member of the country’s First Mental Health Youth Action Forum, I strive to present how to break down barriers to access, saving lives together, one student at a time.

Didi Hirsch’s MHIHM campaign aims to spark social change and empower the public through advocacy, donations and social media participation. Click Advocacy will create a multi-demographic effort for mental health policy change. Easy-to-activate opportunities, including a How I Look/How I Feel social media challenge, will encourage participants to post the juxtaposition of their appearance with an image illustrating how they “really” feel on the inside. For Ask a Therapist, Didi Hirsch will invite one to two influential therapists each week to answer questions on their Instagram account. In a daily Just Checking on You campaign, Didi Hirsch’s Instagram followers can expect another influencer and VIP to tune in to ask how they’re doing and feeling. The Power of Giving will educate the public that, as a collective, their contribution will have an impact, especially in our communities most vulnerable to recent trauma and long-standing inequality. The campaign will include data, real stories and vital statistics, highlighting the importance of treating mental health as equal to physical health.

Didi Hirsch acknowledges supporters, including Bubble Skincare and Patterson’s Auto Team, for donating a portion of their profits to Didi Hirsch’s MHIHM. Additionally, the owners of SUR Restaurant and Lounge, Nathalie and Guillermo Zapata, are making a donation in loving memory of their brilliant and dear friend Chris Huvane.

Today, Didi Hirsch is also building on 80 years of impact by leading the growth of California’s 13 988 crisis centers toward a successful and equitable launch of 988. With $20 million from the Newsom administration, $14 million from dollars more just received from the Biden administration for the 13 centers, plus $12 million from the federal government for Didi Hirsch to expand its unique capacity for Spanish speakers and chat and text services that are disproportionately used by young people. The new easy-to-remember three-digit number for mental health crisis care will go live on July 16, 2022. Recently, Didi Hirsch has partnered with Mantra Health to provide the best virtual, 24/7 mental health services on-demand support for students who need immediate mental health, addictions, or suicidal crisis care.

For the month of May, Didi Hirsch has created a social media toolkit HERE to advocate, donate and join the Mental Health is Health movement. Didi Hirsch invites social media users to raise awareness of the cause with educational and inspirational content using #HowILookHowIFeel and tagging @Didi_Hirsch. JDS1, LLC, CCUR Holdings, Inc., CIDM II, LLC, Julian D. Singer, David S. Oros, Shelly C. Lombard, Matthew Stecker, and Igor Volshteyn (collectively, “JDS1”), file this Schedule 14A with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SECOND”) in connection with JDS1’s plans to solicit proxies from shareholders of Catalyst Biosciences, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company“), in connection with the Company’s 2022 annual meeting of shareholders, any special meeting held in lieu thereof, and any adjournments or postponements thereof (the “2022 Annual Meeting”).

Appendix 13D Amendment No. 10 filed on April 21, 2022

On April 21, 2022, JDS1 filed Amendment No. 10 to its Company Schedule 13D (the “Annex 13D/A”). The following disclosure has been included in Item 4 of Exhibit 13D/A and is included in this Exhibit 14A because such disclosure may be considered solicitation material in connection with JDS1’s plans to solicit proxies from of shareholders of the company for use at the 2022 annual meeting. Meeting:

“Item 4 is hereby amended to add the following:

As previously reported, on March 15, 2022, JDS1, acting under Section 220 of the Delaware General Corporations Act, sent a letter to the Issuer requesting the right to inspect certain books, records and documents of the issuer and to make and/or receive copies or extracts thereof (the “JDS1 inspection request”). The books, records and documents that JDS1 seeks to inspect pursuant to the JDS1 Inspection Request relate, in large part, to the registration and beneficial ownership of outstanding shares. As stated in the JDS1 inspection request, the purpose of the request is to allow JDS1 to communicate with other shareholders of the issuer and to solicit proxies from them with respect to matters relating to their mutual interests as shareholders of the Issuer, including, but not limited to, the composition and structure of the Board of Directors of the Issuer (the “Plank“), the election of directors at the issuer’s 2022 annual meeting of shareholders (the “2022 Annual Meeting”), any other proposals that JDS1 may submit for consideration at the 2022 Annual Meeting, and any other matters that may be duly submitted to the 2022 Annual Meeting.

As of April 20, 2022, more than one month after delivering the JDS1 Inspection Request to the Issuer, JDS1 has not received any documents from the Issuer in response to the JDS1 Inspection Request and has not received any firm undertaking by the Issuer as to which of the documents requested by JDS1 would be provided or when any of the documents requested by JDS1 would be provided. Accordingly, on April 20, 2022, JDS1 filed a lawsuit against the Issuer in the Delaware Court of Chancery seeking to compel the Issuer to produce documents responding to JDS1’s request for inspection and requesting that the Court of the Delaware Chancery orders the Issuer to pay a reasonable amount of attorneys’ fees and expenses incurred by JDS1 in connection with the JDS1 Inspection Request and related litigation.

JDS1 continues to take the necessary steps to prepare for a proxy contest in connection with the 2022 annual meeting, JDS1 continues to believe that, given the precipitous decline in the price per share of the common stock during the past year, the board is in dire need of new shareholder representation and that the three nominees that JDS1 proposed for election to the board at the 2022 annual meeting, Shelly C. Lombard , Matthew Stecker and Igor Volshteyn, can help the board explore opportunities to unlock shareholder value. As of the close of business on April 20, 2022, the common shares closed at a price of $0.53 per share, representing a decline of approximately 89.42% from the closing common share price of 4.98 $ per share on April 21, 2021. In addition, the common stock has spent more than thirty (30) consecutive trading days below $1.00, the latter condition subjecting the issuer to the risk of being delisted by the Nasdaq.

Except as set forth in this Schedule 13D or as may occur upon or in connection with the completion of or as a result of any of the actions described in this Schedule 13D, no Reporting Person shall currently has a plan or proposal that would relate to or result in any of the matters set out in paragraphs (a) – (j) of Article 4 of Schedule 13D. The Reporting Persons intend to review their investment in the Issuer on an ongoing basis. Depending on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the financial condition and strategic direction of the issuer, actions taken by the board of directors, stock price levels, other opportunities for investment available to reporting persons, securities market conditions and general economic and industry conditions, reporting persons may in the future take such actions as they deem appropriate with respect to their investment in the issuer, including, without limited to, engaging in communications with management and/or the board of directors, engaging in communications with one or more shareholders of the issuer and others about the investment of the Issuer and Reporting Persons, making suggestions and/or proposals regarding capitalization, ownership structure, operations, prospects, business and financial strategies securities, strategic transactions, assets and liabilities, business and financing alternatives, board structure and composition and other matters such as The Reporting Persons may deem relevant to their investment in the Issuer, the sale of all or part of their Shares on the open market or otherwise, the short sale or any hedging or similar transaction relating to the Shares, the acquisition of additional Shares and/or other shares, debts, obligations , other securities or derivative or other instruments which are based on or relate to the value of the securities of the Issuer, or which modify their intention with respect to all the matters referred to in point 4.

Important Additional Information and Certain Participant Information

JDS1 intends to file with the SEC a preliminary proxy statement and accompanying proxy card for use in soliciting proxies from Company shareholders in connection with the 2022 annual meeting. so that the shareholders elect three candidates to the board of directors of the Company (the “Plank”) and approve a non-binding proposal directing the board to take the necessary steps to declassify the board (in a manner that does not affect unexpired terms of previously elected directors) so that all directors are elected on an annual basis from the next annual meeting of shareholders after the 2022 annual meeting.

JDS1 STRONGLY RECOMMENDS ALL SHAREHOLDERS OF THE CORPORATION TO READ THE PROXY STATEMENT AND OTHER SOLICITATION SOLICITATION MATERIALS WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE IMPORTANT. THESE PROXY MATERIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE ON THE SEC’S WEBSITE AT HTTPS://WWW.SEC.GOV.

Taiwanese-American singer Wang Leehom has apologized to his ex-wife Lee Jinglei over the controversy surrounding their divorce. The couple had a heated exchange on Weibo after Leehom announced their official split from Jinglei.

In response, Jinglei accused Leehom of infidelity and exposed his alleged wrongdoing during their marriage. Although the musician initially refuted these claims, he recently apologized to his ex-wife, their children and his parents for his actions:

“Here, I solemnly apologize to my parents, Jinglei, and the children. After getting divorced, arguing about the past makes no sense. From now on, I will be careful with my words and my deeds. I will assume the responsibilities of a father, a son and a public figure. I will financially support Jinglei and the children as much as possible.

Anyway, Wang Leehom gave up!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL Base, low life love drama in me is ignited screaming THIS IS NOT AN APOLOGY EXCUSE ME??? THIS CANNOT BE THE END, RIGHT????? https://t.co/vulyTDIWNu

Wang Leehom also pledged to help Lee Jinglei raise their children together and mentioned that he would give her ownership of the house she lives in. He also agreed to support his children financially and took responsibility for the divorce.

“Jinglei, we still have to take care of and raise three children together. I will transfer the house you live in to your name. I will also participate in the whole process of raising the children and will bear the expenses. I will take full responsibility for the mishandling of the incident (divorce). Once again, I apologize to everyone.”

The singer shared that he has decided to take responsibility for the situation “as a man” and will no longer provide “explanations and defenses” about the divorce.

Wang Leehom also decided to temporarily suspend work to help parents and children “repair the damage” caused by the scandal.

On December 15, 2021, Wang Leehom announced on Weibo that he had filed for divorce from his wife Lee Jinglei after eight years of marriage. On December 17, the latter posted a long document on the platform to highlight the troubles in her marriage and accused Leehom of several wrongdoings.

She claimed that the musician had been unfaithful in marriage and repeatedly cheated on her with several women:

“You admitted you had a problem, that you can’t control yourself. I asked for a breakup and you called me on the phone for several weeks, promising me that you would never do it again. You said that from now on, I am your ‘one and only’.”

Lee Jinglei also mentioned that she was only 16 when she first met Wang Leehom, who was 26 at the time.

“Because you are an idol with such a positive image, I had no doubts about you. We were together and we slept together. But the next morning you told me that you didn’t want to be a couple. “

The 35-year-old also said she was forced to sign a prenup before marrying Wang Leehom and claimed he became an “absentee” father to their three children:

“I understand if you want to protect the assets you have before marriage. But the assets you have after marriage are the fruits of both our labors. It’s the result of both of us doing the work we’re supposed to. Still, the house is in your name. The car is in your mother’s name. All assets have been cleanly cut from me, as if you were so deeply afraid that I might “take advantage” of you.

Jinglei further mentioned that she gave up her own dreams and aspirations to raise their children. She also said she decided to stay in the marriage despite the differences but was forced to divorce the musician:

“You asked for a divorce. You said that if you meet a woman you love, you don’t want her to be considered a mistress. When I refused, you used all means and means to verbally intimidate me, humiliate me and spread rumors about me to our friends and relatives.”

Following the accusations, several brands have decided to suspend their association with Wang Leehom. Companies like Infiniti and Chow Tai Seng announced they would no longer work with the musician, and the hashtag “Multiple Brands Terminate Wang Leehom Contract” started trending on Weibo.

In response to the allegations, the “King of Chinese Pop” denied all wrongdoing in another lengthy Weibo post and mentioned that Jinglei’s claims were “false”:
