Former Disney CEO Bob Iger is the lead singer of a new boy band, it seems.

Old waltz disney Company CEO Bob Iger left the House of Mouse on Dec. 31, 2021, and while the 47-year-old Disney veteran hasn’t elaborated on his post-Mickey plans in numerous interviews, he’s safe to say he doesn’t plan to waste to do nothing.

by this as Iger’s multi-faceted talents were showcased during his tenure with the waltz disney Company. He started as a weather reporter in 1974 for an ABC station, and over the course of his career has held several positions within the company, including his last two roles – CEO and President advice. He is credited with the non-messy acquisitions of PIXAR, star warsmarvel etc

Old disney CEO Bob Iger had an exit strategy, elements of which began to take shape before 2018, but plans, events and a global pandemic kept him in a Disney role, namely that of Executive President advice– until the end of 2021. Many Disney fans felt it was a blessing to have it a little longer than expected.

As Iger’s retirement date drew closer, Disney’s President advice was tapped for media interviews across the country, and it was through those interviews that fans learned of Iger’s proudest moments at Disney and his lack of definite plans after his last day with Disney.

At one point there was speculation that Iger had a stake in become part owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, although nothing has yet materialized from this speculation.

The one thing we knew for sure about Iger was that he had no intention of becoming a “couch potato,” as he shared during an interview on Sirius XM Radio. Iger said instead he was interested in finding his next adventure.

But can you really tops Disney?

We don’t know how Bob Iger think about it, but we find it hard enough to think of any other path we’d be happy with after experiencing all the success and “adventure” that comes with being the Beloved CEO of the waltz disney Company. But then again, maybe Iger found it.

Earlier this week, Iger took to Twitter to reveal plans for his next adventure, saying he was “excited to join the @genies board to help @akashrnigam and society empower humans with the ways to create “web3 mobile applications”: avatar ecosystems.”

It’s clear as mud, isn’t it? Now what exactly is he going to do?

We weren’t entirely clear on that either, and his next tweet only added to the confusion.

Then it was clear from the photo that Bob Iger would experience his new adventures as a member of a boy band. We were delighted.

(But apparently that wasn’t quite it.)

The photo shared by Iger is the “Web 3.0 version” of himself, created by the 5-year-old startup he invested in called Genies. It is owned by a 29-year-old man named Akash Nigamwho said he “can’t think of a better creative and product thinker than Bob to collaborate with”.

According to CNBCIger will serve as a member of the start-up’s board of directors.

“[This week]3D avatar Start-up Genies has announced that Iger is joining its board of directors and investing an undisclosed sum in the Los Angeles-based business,” the post read. “Founded in 2017, Genies’ mobile app allows users to create their own personalized digital avatars – three-dimensional cartoon versions of themselves – for their social media profiles and, optionally, browse the metaverse. .”

We must therefore admit that Bob Iger isn’t the lead vocals behind a new singing group, but he’s embracing his next adventure doing what many do – joining teams of creative and successful individuals working to create and grow the metaverse.
