Gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu is dead

Famous Nigerian gospel musician, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has died after battling an undisclosed illness for a few months.

TheNiche collected that the talented singer passed away on Friday evening April 8, 2022 at a hospital in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

Osinachi, who sang mostly in Igbo, was famous for Prospa Ochimana’s hit song “Ekwueme” which was released in 2017.

She has also featured in some gospel hit songs such as Pastor Paul Enenche’s ‘Nara Ekele’ and Emma’s ‘You no dey use me play’.

Her last release was in September last year when she released “Ikem, God of Power”.

The ‘Ekwueme’ crooner is survived by four children and her husband Peter, who is believed to be a clergyman.

She was the twin sister of another popular gospel artist, Amarachi Grace Eze.

Members of the online community reacted to news of her death, while some expressed shock as she died in her prime.

Others said they will miss her melodious voice and beautiful songs, which they are now used to, they also prayed for the rest of her soul.
