Sayaka Kanda, singer of Disney Frozen, found dead at 35
Sayaka Kanda, who was best known for portraying the role of Anna in the Japanese dub of Disney’s Frozen, has died aged 35.
The actress and singer fell from the 14th floor of the hotel where she was staying at 9:40 p.m. on December 18.
Kanda – who was the daughter of actor Masaki Kanda, 71, and singer Seiko Matsuda, 59 – was starring in a production of the musical My Fair Lady in Sapporo, the capital of the mountainous northern island. Japan, Hokkaido.

“Sayaka Kanda (35) passed away suddenly at 9:40 p.m. on December 18, 2021. We are truly sorry to bring such a report to all the fans who supported us and all the people who took care of us.
“We are still unable to accept his passing and are trying to come to terms with it.”
The statement continued: ‘Today I would like to report that the family held a funeral in the form of a secret burial at the request of relatives.
Following a thorough examination by police, it was reported that there was no incident and the cause of death was polytraumatic shock from the fall.
Mrs. Kanda’s Frozen co-star Takako Matsu – who voiced the role of Elsa in the Japanese dub – wrote on Twitter: “I’m speechless. The time we spent together is an irreplaceable treasure to me. .
In addition to Frozen, her voiceovers included the Sword Art Online franchise, Idoly Pride, Star Blazers 2022, and 3D Kanojo Real Girl.
