Singer Alisha Chinai congratulates British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, his wife Akshata Murthy; shares a video introducing them as Ram, Sita

Since Rishi Sunak became the UK’s first Indian-born Prime Minister, celebrities have congratulated him with heartfelt messages on social media. As the third leader of the ruling Conservative Party in less than two months, Sunak, 42, is the first person of color to serve as prime minister in Britain.
Singer Alisha Chinai found a unique way to praise Sunak. She posted an Instagram reel where a monochrome photo of Rishi and his wife Akshata Murthy as Ram and Sita, respectively, was featured. She used the song Chamkega India, sung by her.
